Brilliant slides. For me it was no excuse anymore, not using scala
I attempted to use your VarModel but I always get NotSerializableException on the anonymous function that gets created. Any ideas on how to solve that?

Hi Arni,
sadly the serialization issues were introduced in version 2.7.3 (2.7.2 works fine though) and are already reported ([1], [2]) and partly fixed for the next release. I suggest using 2.7.2 for the time being, that’s what I’m currently doing.
Best regards, — Jan.

Thanks for a quick response. I think I’ll do just that.
